[locked to whatever journal kaiti has for kon]
[The Cheshire Cat is familiar with the idea of waking up to a ceiling he doesn't recognize. One doesn't stay the night with another woman every single night without growing comfortable with waking in unfamiliar surroundings.
This time it's an apartment, obviously small and for the most part utilitarian, even when only judging by the bedroom. A full-sized bed with a warm comforter and clean sheets.
Something's wrong, though. Different. The Cheshire Cat opens his eyes, and props himself up on his elbow to examine his bedmate.
Well, this certainly isn't the usual married woman pining for his charms. Not a woman at all, in fact. The Cheshire Cat chuckles at the novelty of finding a man on the other side of the bed.]
((ooc; all i could think of was a morning-after meme situation IDEK))

LMFAO THAT'S FINE (YEA) DID YOU ENJOY THE BEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE, KITTY
He shifts, pressing his face to the pillow. It was a good night, you know? So he wasn't in any hurry to get up and start the day. The rustling of sheets'll rouse him a little faster than he's expressly interested in, though, and no amount of smothering himself in the bedding is going to stop the headache blooming in the middle of his forehead. Just lay down, please.]
OH, YES~ I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE BEST NIGHT OF YOURS :)
Or, well, after he drapes an arm over the other man's waist and pulls himself up close to Kon, resting his chin on the top of a head of dark hair.
And purrs.]
well B)
'Re you purring...?
no subject
Of course. I am a cat, after all.
no subject
You're awfully big for a cat.
[Not that he's complaining -- Kon's not the kind of guy to be embarrassed or off-put by things he's enjoyed, and there were worse things to be told upon waking. He yawns.]
no subject
That's not the first time I've been told that.

[He draws back enough that Kon can see his expression and smiles, ears swiveling to give him their full attention.]

[His purr thrums louder, and he butts his head gently into the touch of Kon's fingers.]
There's a Hatter who hates me so much he tries to shoot me on sight. It's quite cruel.
no subject
He can't help the corner of his mouth that pulls up into a grin at the distinctly feline behavior. Kon wonders if he'll press into his hand and then roll over onto his back. Isn't that something cats do?]
So far I think you're pretty agreeable. [His only complaint is that he wants to smoke, but he can't do that and scritch at his ears at the same time, which is hardly the cat's fault.]
no subject
[What do you know, Kon. He's doing exactly that, with a breathy sound of pleasure on top of his rumbling purrs.]
Mmmr~ Thank you for the compliment.
no subject
[Fuck, it is incredibly disconcerting to be thinking that the guy you boned last night is adorable like this. Especially with him making sounds like that. Honestly, he'd never really seen the attraction in nekomimi before. Maybe it was because a person acting like a cat lacked the charm of an actual cat, which this guy had in abundance. ... Not that Kon would want to have sex with a cat-cat, but you know.
Kon combs his fingers through the cat's glossy hair, rather enjoying the cognitive dissonance that a person like this creates.]
Cats usually bite me. [An effect, he suspects, of the fact that they know he doesn't respect their sovereign reign over wherever they happen to be at any given moment.]
no subject
[He makes another sound, this time intentionally lewd, arching his back languidly and pressing the curve of his skull into Kon's hand.]
Haa~? I can bite you too, if you prefer familiarity.
no subject
Nah, I don't usually like being bitten first thing in the morning. [Scritch scritch scritch.] And hardly ever before a drink or two.
no subject
He allows his eyelids to slide to half-mast, and licks his lips pointedly.]
Well, if you're sure.
no subject
[It's a concert Kon doesn't mind a repeat performance of, though he would like to state for the record that it was rather more fulfilling to coax those noises out by a slightly different method.
He lets his fingers wander, stroking under his chin and down his neck before returning to trace the curve of his skull. He shifts a little, rolling onto his side to more comfortably reach. The sheets are cold, though, and he presses close.]
But I prefer to the be the one doing the biting.
no subject
He laughs, low and smooth.]
I remember that much. I'd be open to that too, of course.
no subject
[His grin is a little too sharp as he brushes his fingers down the line of the cat's neck again, tracing the angle where tendons met clavicles.]
no subject
[His grin isn't wide, not even enough to show teeth, but there's something inherently dangerous there, if not directly threatening. Soft ears flick, and his purr rumbles still, deep in his chest.]
Ah- just like that~
no subject
[Kon's perceptive enough to see it, and it sends a delightful sort of chill down his spine. Things are never boring when they're dangerous, and there's not much he dislikes more than being bored.]
Yeah? [He curls his fingers and brushes his thumb along the cat's jaw.] What else do you like?
no subject
Hm~ I wonder if you can remember.
no subject
It's easy enough to retrace patterns, skimming last night's paths, pressing gently at the mouth-sized bruises that linger on the cat's skin.]
I seem to remember you being fairly easy to please.
no subject
[The Cheshire Cat stretches, relishing the feel of Kon's hand on his skin with a secure ease of manner that only can mean he feels he's the one in control, right now.]
no subject
[Oh, Kon doesn't mind. He's not one of those guys to get caught up on things like that if he's enjoying himself. And anyway, that's a very cat-like mannerism, isn't it? So he simply continues to caress the planes of the cat's body, scratching lightly from time to time, observing how he reacted to each touch.]
no subject
[It seems he especially enjoys his belly being scratched. That makes his fingers curl and knead at the bed as he squirms.]
no subject
Amiable for a cat. [Warm and charming. Kon kind of wants to fit himself against the cat as closely as he can and explore a little differently, but that might spur things on more quickly toward the part where they'll roll out of bed, get dressed and start their separate days, and he's not in any rush to get there.]
no subject
Amiable enough to squirm still closer to Kon and lean in, to lick at his jawline with a barely-rough pink tongue.]
no subject
no subject
Again with the taking of subtle cues, and running with them.]
Ahaha, did you really have to laugh?
no subject
You say that like it's a bad thing.
[The corners of his mouth turn up in a smug sort of grin and he tugs on a lock of silky hair.]
You surprised me.
no subject
[He follows the pull exerted on his hair, placing a hand on Kon's shoulder and leaning over him, curious.]
no subject
[He'd only meant to pull on the cat's hair to be cheeky, but now that he has him moving, Kon keeps pulling him down. He knows his mouth still tastes like last night's alcohol, but hey, the cat licked him first! So he lifts his chin and ghosts his lips against the cat's, pleased to find that there was still frisson in the touch.]
no subject
[He's more than glad to lean into that kiss, flicking his tongue out teasingly against Kon's lips even as his purr vibrates through the both of them.]
no subject
He reels the strand of hair around his fingers, sliding his hand back into the cat's hair and rubbing his scalp.]
no subject
The hand of his that isn't set to keeping him balanced instead slides up the human's side, making an unhurried trek up to his collarbone.]
